Donald Partin
CTE Director

Dr. Donald Partin is an accomplished educator with a rich and varied background. A former member of the army and a medical technologist, Dr. Partin has been a part of the Grundy County school system since 2012. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Education, a Master's in Biology, and an Ed.S and Ed.D. from Carson-Newman University.
Throughout his career, Dr. Partin has taught a wide range of subjects, including health science courses, chemistry, physics, biology, and computer science. He currently serves as an Assistant Principal and the CTE Director at Grundy County High School. When he's not busy with his school duties, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, their four children, and their four grandchildren.
Career Technical Education (CTE) is a program of study that involves a multiyear sequence of courses that integrates academic knowledge with technical and occupational knowledge to provide students with a pathway to postsecondary education and industry careers.
