Running or Field Events are great ways to test yourself and push yourself to the limits. In Cross Country you are competing against other runners. You are running a 5k (3.105 miles) and your goal is to pass as many runners as possible. Track and Field allows you to compete and strengthen your skill set and show the sport what you can do. Doing Cross Country or Track and Field can be an individual or team participation, but it is still all about the individual and the mental toughness of that individual.
