Cheer

I’ve been teaching in the Grundy County School system for 20 years. I’ve been an elementary volleyball & elementary cheer coach. I cheered for 10 years in Grundy County. Both my daughters are currently cheerleaders; Bella is a Junior at GCHS, and Lily is a youth Jacket 9U. Cheer has always been an aspect of my life.

I strongly feel the Lord led me to this role. He’s been with me through every challenge, showing me how to lead a squad of girls who have great potential in cheer and life. I desire to build the cheer program until I retire from teaching. The girls of Grundy County deserve the opportunity to excel and participate in cheer to the fullest extent. This year we have grown to a squad of 23. The community has shown great support, and our girls are striving to bring excitement to the games. We’re advocating for One Grundy, with many schools, creating unity for success
