Bonus Check Information
In April, both the State of Tennessee and the Grundy County Board of Education approved the payment of the Education Freedom Act bonus for Grundy County Schools teachers. In addition, the current Board of Education approved providing the same bonus to all current employees and eligible employees who worked during the 2024–2025 school year.
At its meeting on June 22, 2026, the Grundy County Commission approved the necessary budget amendments, allowing Grundy County Schools to process these bonus payments.
